When I recollect my travels in the last 30 years I don’t often mention India. It is a place I have been but, since I don’t have any actual vivid memories of it, I don’t know if it really counts. I don’t think I remember because I was about 18 months old; a little brown-eyed, blonde girl with chubby cheeks. I recently found photos of the trip; funny because I leave later today for India again. My mother and I will depart in several hours for my 30th birthday on May 18th. So excited for this adventure. Returning to the unknown….
Here a a few of those jewels from the past.
I can only hope that the travel is smooth and safe. I can’t wait to see the Taj Mahal (again technically…) and maybe an elephant or two. My plan is to find an Indian Sari so that my mother and I can take a photograph in front of the Taj. I wish my father could journey with us but he’ll be there in spirit. I can’t wait to go out into the big wide world again – there are so many beautiful sites to see and I cant wait to experience and capture some of them. Until then – Namaste!
